Racing has officially announced the signing of Joaquín Martínez Gauna, known as Oso, from FC Sevilla. According to Sport.fr, the Spanish left-back has signed a contract running until June 2031. The transfer was completed for a fee of around €10 million, with a 10% sell-on clause. At 23, Oso is coming off a promising season in La Liga, tallying two goals and three assists. The saga of his arrival, which began back in May, has ended positively for Strasbourg, who are counting on his energy and versatility to solidify the left flank.
Guéla Doué, a Record Sale in Defense
While Strasbourg is strengthening, the club has also finalized a major outgoing deal. According to Africa Top Sports, Ivorian full-back Guéla Doué is set to join Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of €37.5 million, bonuses included. Having arrived in Alsace for €6 million in 2024, the 23-year-old international leaves the club after significantly boosting both its sporting and financial value. This transfer stands as one of the biggest sales in Racing’s history and provides new room for maneuver going forward.
Amougou, Strategic Loan to Toulouse and Attacking Moves Incoming
On the youth front, Mathis Amougou is temporarily leaving the Meinau. The 20-year-old midfielder, signed from Chelsea for €12 million a year ago, is being loaned to Toulouse without a purchase option, according to L’Équipe and several specialized outlets.
