Paris FC relies on targeted signings and a solid core to aim for the top 5, but will need to address key areas of its squad.
New Faces Making Their Mark
Among the standout arrivals, the signing of Pablo Pagis this summer is already having an impact. The former Lorient player, who scored 10 goals last season in Ligue 1, brings creativity and a strong team ethic to the midfield. According to Le Parisien (01/11), Pagis is looking to take his game to the next level in Parisian colors, supported by experienced players like Pierre Lees-Melou and Ilan Kebbal. This blend of youth and experience is energizing the club’s midfield.
A Competitive Starting XI, Adjustments Needed
Under the guidance of Liam Rosenior, who arrived in July, Paris FC has shown strong form, sitting in sixth place after eight matches (Top mercato, 31/10). The team boasts an attractive attacking style but has also shown some weaknesses, conceding seven goals in the last five games. Two recent league defeats are a reminder that the squad needs greater defensive stability if they hope to secure a long-term spot at the top of the table.
Squad Needs and Potential Targets
While the Parisian squad is competitive, the press highlights several areas for improvement. Paris FC could look to strengthen their defense in the upcoming transfer window to address the vulnerabilities seen early in the season. So far, no specific targets have emerged in the media, but upcoming results could prompt the club’s management to accelerate their search.
What’s Next
With the international break approaching, Paris FC’s momentum will be closely watched. A win against Monaco this weekend would see them break into the top 5 (But! Football Club, 31/10) and strengthen their position in the market. The coming weeks may also bring the first hints of winter transfer activity, as Paris FC looks to confirm its ambitions.
